Technical implementation of this year's Christmas event and fixing some bugs.

NEW FEATURES

• New Event: This update includes the technical implementation of this year's Christmas event, which starts on December 16 17!

CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS

• Buff: Fixed an issue that made Prestigious Friend Buffs disappear after a few hours
• Guild: Fixed an issue that prevented Guild Certificates from increasing the size of a guild
• Quest: Finishing a quest will no longer cause the Questbook to jump to the top
• Quest: The Excelsior, Militia, and Cavalry tutorial quests can be completed again
• Rewards: Defeating sector bosses will yield loot again, including Building Licences
• UI: Fixed an issue that caused star menu items to be incorrectly displayed as disabled
• Zone Error: Fixed an issue causing locked zones

PERFORMANCE

• Performance: Mail interface rework - The mail interface has been reworked to improve game performance and usability
• Mail interface rework includes:
  • Performance optimization - less pressure on server-side, significantly reduced memory and CPU consumption
  • The per-page navigation of mails has been replaced by an endless scrollable list
  • No loading animation (hourglass) will be visible anymore when mails are deleted, instead, it happens instantly
  • Faster loading, faster scrolling, and elimination of lags in the interface
  • Smoother switching between Inbox/Outbox, much smaller delay
  • Minor UI tweaks and fixes to make use of the mailbox easier
  • Fixed a number of bugs - among others displaying content for trading mail, showing of content correctly when answering on a mail

CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS

• Buff: Fixed an issue that prevented medipacks produced in the Sickbay from applying to defeated Generals
• Buff: Fixed an issue that caused the effect of the A Handful of Balloons buff to be less potent than advertised
• Building: The Balloon Market can be moved using the Move Building tool again
• Building: Adjusted the Celebrative Lookout & Ghost Lantern to give out additional loot when more than 5 of them are placed on the home island, up to a limit of 10.
• Building: Adjusted the Christmas Trees to give out additional loot when more than 5 of them are placed on the home island, up to a limit of 15.
• Event: Fixed an issue that caused the remaining time of an event to be displayed incorrectly on login
• Localisation: Fixed various localization issues shown as UnknownID
• Mails: Replies to replies of guildmails are no longer sent to the entire guild
• Mails: Collecting trade mails via collect all feature does no longer delete resources
• Skills: Fixed an issue that caused Explorer skills and traits, which increase loot on treasure searches, to not function

Update: The feature which allowed the mass collection of trade mails has been temporarily disabled until further notice. It will be implemented into the game after the event has concluded; thank you for your patience and understanding!

• Loading: Fixed an issue that occurred when loading into the game upon login.
• Event: Converted Halloween Event Resources.
• Items: Removed excess Guild Licenses. The removal of duplicate Guild Licences was not able to be completed during this hotfix, and instead will be carried out after the Christmas Event is over in the new year.
