Beste kolonisten,
Als u ons nog geen briefkaart heeft verstuurd, maar u bent van plan om te doen, is het nu het juiste moment! Aangezien de zomer tot een einde komt, kijken we de awestruck briefkaarten die onze spelers hier hebben gestuurd, aan het Blue Byte Düsseldorf kantoor. Er is nog maar een week over om kans te hebben op het winnen van 500 edelstenen of een speciale prijs, dus schiet op!

Eerste Winnaar: Holzfaeller
Beste spelers,
De zomer is gedaan, en zo is ook de stroom postkaarten in onze brievenbus gestopt. We hebben er enorm van genoten ze te lezen ( en soms zelfs het ontcijferen van het handschrift) toen we verwonderd waren door alle prenten en tekeningen jullie gestuurd hebben. Dank je om de tijd te nemen een stukje van je vakantie met de The Settlers Online Community te delen!
Natuurlijk waren er een aantal postkaarten die in het oog sprongen, en deze was er zo eentje. Zand en Schelpen van de Baltische Zee!
Toen we dit community event voor het eerst lanceerden hadden we zeker niet gedacht aan zulke onconventionele "postkaarten"! Dus knuffels voor onze allereerste winnaar, de Duitse speler Holzfaeller, voor het verrassen van iedereen en uit de box te denken (of buiten de schelp als je het zo wilt stellen ;) )!

Dear players,
There's a bit of a story behind this postcard and it involves our French community: sansgene is well-known among his fellow settlers for his leather crafting skills. His game colleagues have thus challenged him to create a leather postcard for our Community contest and send it over to our office. We're sure glad he accepted the challenge!
It seems like seashells and multicolored parrots are in line with the general exotic island theme our players love! What's next?

Life is always full of surprises and the Russian player Nat_s came across one during her holiday last summer. Arriving in a small picturesque town on an island, she found herself being welcomed by the Mayor himself! Strangely, this town didn't seem to have any hotels at all and, as she further describes, the locals were very hospitable and curious. Hmm, a town on an island, no hotels, kind-hearted people and the Mayor coming to see the foreigners - does this scenario remind you of a particular island? ;)
