Christmas Community Contest
Time span: Friday, 16th of December – Friday, 30th of December

Dear settlers,

Christmas is for spending quality time with family, friends and, of course, your festive "The Settlers Online" community. Come inside from the bitter chill of winter, into the comforting warmth of our Community corner.

Community activities:

• Write a Letter to BB_Santa
  No matter whether you're on BB_Santa's nice or naughty list, for this year's Christmas you will get a chance to write him a letter and express your most ardent wish. The most convincing and original letters may find themselves rewarded.

• Decorate your Christmas tree
  You're not much of a wordsmith, but you sure know how to capture the festive mood of the winter season? Show us your Christmas Tree or your Christmas Tree TSO decorations and we'll make sure to put a spotlight on the best contributions. ;)

General conditions

• Submit your contribution within the community event's time span: Friday, 16th of December – Friday, 30th of December
• You can take part in the contest by completing either of the two activities or both.
• If your contribution is chosen, it will be featured as a Forum Spotlight entry.
• If you choose to submit a photo of your Christmas Tree or craft The Settlers Online decorations, you should include your nickname in the picture. Your nickname must be part of the photo in a physical way.

Formal requirements

• You have one regular game account
• Third-party rights must be respected
• Underage players must get parents' permission to participate
• Your contribution follows the Code of conduct and the PEGI-7 rating
• By entering the contest, participants agree to assign their intellectual property rights to Ubisoft / Blue Byte and permit Ubisoft / Blue Byte to use the participation in any media, including games
• Participants agree that Ubisoft / Blue Byte is allowed to announce the winners and present their rewarded contribution. Real names will not be used for the publication, only nicknames, game world and language version. The contribution will be stored on Ubisoft /Blue Byte servers to present the content. Channels that might be used for announcing the winners and for presenting the contributions are international websites, forums, Facebook channels, Instagram and Twitter channels managed by Ubisoft / Blue Byte (especially "The Settlers Online" channels).

For each task there will be 3 ranks, with multiple winners per rank:

Rank 1: 2,000 Gems
Rank 2: 1,000 Gems
Rank 3: 500 Gems

Every player can participate twice: one time per task.
Thus, every player has the chance of winning two times.

Announcement of winners

• The Community Team will continue to judge contributions right through the holiday season, up until the first week of January
• Prizes will be sent to winners' game accounts as soon as possible via in-game message

Kerst Gemeenschaps Wedstrijd
Tijdspanne: Vrijdag 16 December – Vrijdag 30 December

Beste settlers,

Kerst is het moment om tijd te spenderen met familie, vrienden, en natuurlijk jouw feestelijke "The Settlers Online" Gemeenschap. Kom binnen en ontsnap aan de bittere winterkoude, in de comfortabele warmte van onze Gemeenschapshoek.

Gemeenschapsactiviteiten:

• Schrijf een brief naar BB_Kerstman
  Het maakt niet uit of je op de lieve of ondeugende lijst van BB_Kerstman staat, voor deze Kerst krijg je de kans hem een brief te schrijven en je vurigste wens uit te drukken. De meest overtuigende en origineelste brieven maken kans op een beloning.

• Versier je Kerstboom
  Ben je niet echt een woordsmid maar weet je zeker en vast de feestelijke sfeer van het winterseizoen te vangen? Laat ons jouw Kerstboom of jouw kerstdecoratie voor de boom in het thema van THe Settlers Online zien en wij zorgen ervoor dat de beste inzendingen in de spotlight komen te staan. ;)

Algemene voorwaarden

• Dien je inzending in tijdens de tijdspanne van het gemeenschapsevent: Vrijdag 16 December - Vrijdag 30 December
• Je kan deelnemen aan de wedstrijd door 1 van beide of beide activiteiten te voltooien.
• Als je inzending is gekozen zal hij dienen als Forum Spotlight inzending.
• Indien je ervoor kiest een foto aan te leveren van je Kerstboom of van je The Settlers Online decoraties moet je nicknaam zichtbaar zijn in de foto. Hij moet op een fysieke manier deel uitmaken van de foto.

Formele voorwaarden

• Je bezit één reguliere spelaccount
• Rechten van derde partij moeten gerespecteerd worden
• Minderjarige deelnemers moeten toelating krijgen van hun voogd deel te nemen
• Je inzending voldoet aan de Gedragsregels en de PEGI-7 rating.
• Door deelname aan de wedstrijd stemmen deelnemers ermee in hun intellectuele eigendomsrechten over te dragen aan Ubisoft / Blue Byte en staan ze Ubisoft / Blue Byte toe de deelname te gebruiken in alle media, inclusief spellen
• Deelnemers gaan ermee akkoord dat Blue Byte / Ubisoft toestemming heeft om de winnaars aan te kondigen en de ingestuurde foto's te gebruiken. Echte namen zullen niet worden gebruikt voor de publicaties, alleen nicknamen, spelwereld en taalversie wel. De inzending zal worden opgeslagen op de Ubisoft/Blue Byte servers om de winnaars aan te kondigen. Manieren die kunnen worden gebruikt om de winnaars aan te kondigen zijn internationale websites, fora, Facebook kanalen, Instagram en Twitter kanalen beheerd door Ubisoft / Blue Byte (in het bijzonder "The Settlers Online" kanalen).

Voor elke taak zijn er 3 rangen, met meerdere winnaars per rang:

Rang 1: 2,000 Edelstenen
Rang 2: 1,000 Edelstenen
Rang 3: 500 Edelstenen

Iedere speler kan twee keer deelnemen: per taak een keer.
Dus, elke speler heeft de kans twee keer te winnen.

Bekendmaking van de winnaars

• Het Gemeenschaps Team zal de inzendingen beoordelen tot de eerste week van Januari
• Prijzen zullen zo snel mogelijk verstuurd worden naar de spelaccounts van de winnaars via een ingame bericht
